The ABC logo is a visually compelling logo design by Paul Rand. Created in 1962 Rand took three perfect circles and created a letter out of each one also with three more circles in their counterspaces. Over the years, ABC has tried to attempt a redesign of this iconic design to no avail.

I feel that this design is real stable through its positive and negative spacing. I see a real ambiguous figure/ ground element. I feel the element within the design could be both in the foreground and background simultaneously. White space doesn't literally have to be white and this design shows that.
